Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring GCSE and A-Level students for over two years. I started with Maths at GCSE and secondary level, then expanded to cover Combined Science. In 2024–25, I also began tutoring A-Level Economics, with students achieving A grades in their 2025 exams.

Subjects I Teach

GCSE - Maths, Further Maths, Triple Science (Physics), Combined Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), Business, Economics. 

A-Level - Maths, Further Maths, Economics

I can also teach English to non-native speakers.

I particularly excel in Economics and Maths at both GCSE and A-Level, as well as Physics at GCSE. However, I am confident in supporting students across all the subjects listed above.

How I Teach

At first I will try to grasp a sense of the students current level and understanding. This is usually done by quickly running through questions on key concepts and topics.

We will then start working on the foundational skills which are used across other topics. For example, in maths GCSE this may be the basics of algebra. We will build upon these foundations as we move through topics. The topics will be either of topics the student struggles with, topics they are currently learning and want reinforcing or topics I feel are important to be 100 percent confident in. We will either work through practice questions, past papers or homework. I will go through questions and example step by step. If I feel as though a student needs extra work in a certain area I will create problems to test that area and deepen their understanding. 

My Achievements

Graduated with a 2:1 in economics and international economics from the University of Nottingham in 2025.

Achieved the first 100% in any school of economics final exam at the university in Industrial Economics.

A* in A-level mathematics, A in further maths, A in economics and A in physics.

9 in GCSE physics, 8 in mathematics, 8 in chemistry, 8 in biology, 7 in English literature and 7 in English language.

My latest student that I tutored through year 12 and year 13 achieved an A in A-level economics in 2025.

Availability

Please note that I am travelling until December 2025, so in-person lessons will resume in 2026. In the meantime, I am available for online tutoring.
